I had the pleasure of hiring Willie Vasquez, owner of Willie's Home Improvement to work on a large renovation project in NW Washington, DC. Willie was very professional and so was his crew. He restored the face of a historic building, brick, he drywalled and plaster ready for paint, he painted the entire unit of 12 apartments and finished the basement. I have nothing but great things to say about Willie and his company. He did the job and met his set time given and was willing to do things that were asked without any notice. I had Misti and her crew work on my row home in Washington DC. They did a fantastic job. I may ask them come to North Carolina and do my home here. They completed the entire interior of my home in DC (including walls, trim, and ceilings) in about two weeks. The painting included, 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, my family room, formal living room, formal dining room, kitchen, and sunroom. Because I don't live there full time, I needed to find someone I could trust to do the job right and that I could trust giving my key to. I found that in Misti and her crew at CZpainting. They were wonderful...worth EVERY dollar and more!!!

H&R Renovations was a complete disappointment, and a very costly mistake. For very minor renovations, Alex and Adam promised work to be done in 3 days - after 14 days, it was still not finished when we chose to let them go. They installed completely unsuitable materials in our bathroom - greenboard on the walls, and particleboard on the floor - both unacceptable in high-moisture environments, and unable to use for tiling. The walls were left completely wavy, lumpy, and uneven - a completely unprofessional job. For other drywall they did for us, they caused major electrical damage in their installation, which required our electician to open up the walls again and undo their work. Lastly, they left extensive damage to our newly refinished hardwood floors - which we urged them to repair, but were still not repaired to their original state.

Great work. Installed a bamboo floor in my bedroom, cherry floor in my kitchen & den, and a cherry laminate in my basement. Also painted bedroom and bathrrom.
